Alice, who is set to join the cast of EastEnders, tends to keep her private life under wraps. With a blank slate on Instagram and infrequent updates on her other social profiles, the actress maintains a low-key presence off-screen.

Delighted about her upcoming part in the soap, Alice expressed her enthusiasm: "I am so excited. I have always watched the show, and I was born in February 1985, so I'm the same age as EastEnders! It's so cool to be playing a character like Vicki - we think we know her, but a lot has changed. I can't wait for all the Albert Square drama ahead."

While viewers are kept in suspense over the exact date of Vicki's entrance to Walford, the storyline hints that following Martin's demise, showcased in Thursday's (20 February) instalment, her arrival could be anticipated within weeks.

EastEnders airs Monday - Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm. Episodes are also released on iPlayer at 6am
