by Jane Moore, https://www.thejournal.ie/author/jane-moore/ · TheJournal.ieWESTLIFE WILL KICK off their 25th anniversary world tour with a five-night residency in Dublin’s 3Arena next September.
The boyband made the announcement on social media this morning.
Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan will perform the shows from Tuesday, 22 September to Saturday, 26 September 2026.
The concerts will bring the band’s total number of performances at the 3Arena to 74 shows, a figure unmatched by any other artist in the venue’s history.
The announcement said fans can expect “a euphoric, hit-packed set spanning the band’s remarkable career”, with the trio set to perform some of their greatest hits, including Swear It Again, World of Our Own, Flying Without Wings and You Raise Me Up.

The shows will be followed by three nights in Belfast’s SSE Airtricity in October 2026.
“We can’t tell you how excited we are to begin these celebrations,” the band said.
“This tour is a thank you to our fans who have shared the last 25 years with us. We can’t wait to perform our biggest ever songs and to make this celebration an unforgettable night for all of you.”
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on 23 October, with pre-sale tickets available from 20 October.
The band won’t be joined by Mark Feehily for their world tour. He announced last year that he was stepping back from touring to focus on recovering from a series of health problems that began in 2020.
The popstar made the announcement in a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, saying he regretted having to make the decision but needed to focus on his health.
