AMERICAN COUNTRY MUSIC star Luke Combs has confirmed that he will play a second gig at Slane Castle next year.

Combs was last week confirmed as the next headliner for the historic Co Meath venue in the summer of 2026. He becomes just the second act to perform twice at Slane in the same year, following in the steps of U2 who did it on consecutive weekends in 2001.

Combs’ first announced gig will take place on 18 July and it was announced today that Combs will also perform at Slane Castle on 19 July.

Tickets for both Slane gigs will go on general sale this coming Friday at 10am.

Combs will be joined by a number of special guests, including The Script.

Other guest performers include young American country singer Ty Myers and country music trio The Castellows.

Combs, from Asheville, North Carolina, is regarded as one of the most successful artists in contemporary country music.

He is currently touring across the US and is expected to bring his full-scale stadium show to Ireland for the 2026 event.

The 2026 concert will mark 45 years of live music at Slane Castle, a venue that has hosted some of the world’s most iconic acts, including U2, Oasis, Bob Dylan, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, and Harry Styles, who last performed there in 2023.
