Canadian rockers The Sheepdogs are opening for the show at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops and singer Amanda Marshall is opening for Adams at Prospera Place in Kelowna.

Ticket sales are going live through AMEX presale at 10 a.m. on April 29, and general sales begin at 10 a.m. on May 2.

For those who don’t know Adams, he's been touring the world for 40 years, has 18 JUNO Awards, a Grammy, American Music Awards, and three Academy Awards. He’s known for classics like “Summer of ‘69” and “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”.

Adams' tour is timed to coincide with the upcoming release of "Roll With the Punches," his 17th studio album and the first he's issued on his own independent record label.

He promises the tour set list will span "all the classics, some deep cuts and sharing some brand-new tracks from the forthcoming album."

Adams has already completed a New Zealand and Australia leg on this tour, with dates scheduled for the U.K. and Ireland next month and further European dates throughout the summer.
