Free entry to Mysuru Rail Museum on April 18

In view of the World Heritage Day celebrations, the Mysuru Rail Museum will offer free entry to all visitors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.

A release stated that this initiative is aimed at promoting awareness about heritage conservation and inspiring the public, especially the younger generation, to recognise the value of preserving cultural and historical heritage for future generations.

To mark the occasion, the museum will also host a poster-making and drawing/painting competition on the theme of heritage preservation. The contests will be held across three different age groups, encouraging creativity and engagement with the heritage theme.
