The much-anticipated trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again has arrived, teasing a gripping clash between Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer-turned-vigilante played by Charlie Cox, and Wilson Fisk, the formidable Kingpin portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio. The series marks the return of these iconic characters from Marvel’s Netflix era, now firmly integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The trailer opens with a tense coffee-shop exchange, where Fisk, now mayor, tells Murdock, “I will admit, it’s not entirely unpleasant seeing you again.” Murdock, unfazed, counters, “I can’t shake the feeling you’re gaming the system.”

In a dramatic reset, Marvel Studios revamped the series in late 2023 after initial footage failed to meet expectations. New showrunner Dario Scardapane (The Punisher) was brought on to steer the 18-episode series, which has transitioned from its isolated Netflix roots to become official MCU canon.

The series boasts a cast, including Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, and Jon Bernthal, reprising his role as the Punisher. Additional cast members include Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, and Michael Gandolfini.

Executive producers Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and others promise a darker, high-stakes narrative that remains true to the beloved characters.

Daredevil: Born Again premieres on Disney+ on March 4.
