Ali Abbasi, who has been accused of groping A-List actor, has parted ways with CAA and Entertainment 360. The director, who made the Oscar-nominated ‘The Apprentice’, is now represented by LARK in UK

Ali Abbasi, director of the Oscar-nominated Donald Trump biopic The Apprentice, has been accused of groping an A-List actor. The alleged incident has led to the filmmaker parting ways with CAA and Entertainment 360, Deadline reported.

According to reports, at the CAA’s Golden Globes after party, an inebriated Abbasi groped an A-List, a CAA represented actor. The agency demanded an apology to the actor from Abbasi.

Currently, Abbasi is solely represented by LARK in the UK. The Apprentice,is based on the early life of Trump. The film stars Sebastian Stan as a young Trump, with Jeremy Strong playing his infamous mentor, Roy Cohn.

Sebastian Stan and Roy Cohn have earned Oscar nominations. Commenting on the situation with his representatives, Abbasi told Deadline, “I can confirm that I’ve made the decision to move in a new direction with my career. I’m grateful for the work CAA and Entertainment 360 have done, particularly their commitment to The Apprentice, which remains a project I’m incredibly proud of. I look forward to announcing my next steps at the appropriate time.”
