Maura Higgins' 'always' admission about Molly-Mae Hague as she gives show of support to 'true love' from Love Island

by · Manchester Evening News

They're not seen together very often since their Love Island says but Maura Higgins has revealed that she and Molly-Mae Hague remain close as they reunited for the first time since her I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here stint.

Maura, 34, appeared on Love Island’s fifth series in 2019 alongside Molly-Mae and her former fiance Tommy Fury. She coupled up with Curtis Pritchard, and the pair landed fourth place.

Her most recent reality venture saw her head Down Under and join 11 other famous faces in the I'm A Celeb jungle. She was a latecomer to the camp during this year's run of the ITV reality show alongside Reverend Richard Coles.

Maura was also tipped to win the much-loved programme but towards the end of the series, after missing out on bagging immunity in a new show twist, Maura found herself with the fewest votes from the public alongside fellow Irish star Barry McGuigan and they left in sixth and fifth place respectively.

While they haven't been seen together since Maura's trip Down Under, it's clear she and Molly-Mae have remained the best of friends and Maura was on hand to support her pal as she launched her Amazon Prime Video series, Behind It All.

The first three episode of the six-part series were released on Friday (January 17) and give a fly-on-the-wall look at the 25-year-old’s life, including her split with fellow former reality TV star turned boxer Tommy , also 25.

Ahead of the release, a screening was held at London’s Leicester Square, with Molly-Mae in attendance. She looked fabulous as she wore a long, all-white outfit, while she was joined by Maura who looked sensational in a short black dress with matching sheer tights

They posed for a number of pictures together before the screening and sharing a video of their white carpet moment on Instagram, Maura said: "Always there in our wildest moments." Molly-Mae was quick to respond as she simply wrote in the comments: "Always," with a white heart emoji.
