Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon shares intimate photo from birth of second child as co-stars rush to respond

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has been flooded with more congratulatory messages and gushing comments from her co-stars as she confirmed the name of her second child with a string of adorable photos.

The actress, who is famed for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, announced she and her partner Ryan Ledson were expecting baby number two back in August, having welcomed their first child, Sonny Jude, in February 2023.

Lucy then took to social media on Tuesday (January 14) to confirm that their baby girl had arrived into the world safe and sound last Saturday (January 11), sharing the first sweet picture of the newborn, who could be seen in a fleece-lined baby chair in a floral baby grow with 'Little Sister' embroidered on the front

"Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25," the Blackpool-born star confirmed alongside the post. Lucy has confirmed her and Preston North End footaballer Ryan's daughter's name for the first time.

Alongside a number of pictures which showed Lucy just after being passed her daughter following her birth for the first time, her bonding with her baby girl as well as showing how her 23-month-old Sonny, is reacting to his younger sibling, Lucy confirmed on Instagram: "Our Nancy Margaret Ledson. A dream come true."

Corrie's Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Abi Webster in the ITV soap, said: "Just gorgeous," while Shona Platt actress Julia Goulding simply replied: "Heaven." Cait Fitton, who stars as Lauren Bolton, commented: "I’m so buzzing for you all!! She is absolutely gawjus." Alya Nazir actress Sair Khan shared: "Just beautiful."

Maria Windass star Samia Longchambon posted a string of love heart eyes emoji, as did former Corrie star Brooke Vincent. The latter's former on-screen sister Helen Flanagan also shared: "So beautiful," with more love heart eyes emojis.
