BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara makes brutal dig at Aljaz Skorjanec live on air
by Jasmine Allday · Manchester Evening NewsJanette Manrara playfully teased her husband Aljaz Skorjanec during a live episode of Strictly: It Takes Two.
Although Janette no longer dances on Strictly Come Dancing, she now hosts the spin-off show It Takes Two, where she frequently chats with the show's celebrities and their dance partners about their upcoming performances.
On this occasion, it was Aljaz and his celebrity partner Tasha Ghouri's turn to discuss their journey on the show so far and their preparations for their American Smooth routine set to Lewis Capaldi's Someone You Loved.
During the conversation, Tasha expressed her joy at being part of the show, as she told Janette: "It was just incredible being in the ballroom, the audience; it was a different feeling. It was so magical and so special and to be able to dance somewhere is something to be so grateful for. And dancing with Alijaz as well."

In response, Janette cheekily remarked about her husband, "Yeah he's alright."
Aljaz has returned to the ballroom for this series, and Janette confessed that their relationship has taken a new turn since his comeback, reports the Mirror.
She shared: "I feel like I've fallen in love with him all over again! I fell in love watching him dance, so now watching him dance again - because when we met we went dancing together - now, when I see him back on the screen dancing, I'm like, 'Oh, I fancy him again!'"
Now that they are both working on the show again, they have had to juggle their professional commitments with their personal life.

She detailed their weekly routine with baby Lyra: "We are commuting so the plan is that Lyra and I go down to London on Wednesday and we stay Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Aljaz in London and then we come back home on Saturday."
Reflecting on a recent weekend, she added: "I went to watch Strictly on Saturday night in the studio. I really wanted to watch the first 'Icons Week' and it was incredible so I'm so glad I was there for it. Then on Sunday we had Robin's remembrance show, The Final Act. It was quite an emotional Sunday. We've just been cuddling all day, [to Lyra] haven't we?
"I try not to be on my phone when I'm with her because I don't like her seeing me on my phone. I want her to know she's got Mommy's attention so it's a bit harder for me to post and get things done when I'm with her. But we've been having amazing days... I just wanted to pop on and say hello."
Strictly: It Takes Two airs weekdays at 6.30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer
