BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly surprises former contestant as she shows support with 3-word comment

Tess Daly seemingly surprised recent Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghorui as she showed her support for her latest update. The host of the hit dance show often remains impartial when she shows her support for her fellow stars of the show.

But now the 2024 series of the BBC One dance contest is over, Tess has been seen showing her support for the stars of the 2024 series, including Tasha.

Tasha and her pro dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec made it to the end of Strictly's 2024 series and finished joint top of the leaderboard at the end of the grand final in mid-December alongside fellow finalists JB Gill and Lauren Oakley.

But the decision as to who was crowned this year's champions was one made by the voting public and despite high scores for Tasha and JB on the night, it was comedian Chris McCausland and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell who lifted the famous Glitterball trophy.

After the stars went their separate ways for the festive period, a number of stars from the class of 2024 have since reunited as they prepare to hit the road with the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour. The string of arena shows kick off on Friday (January 17) in Birmingham at the city's Utilita Arena before heading to Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and London, with the final show taking on February 9 at the O2.

Ahead of leaving her home for Birmingham where rehearsals will continue ahead of the first show on Friday (January 17), Tasha took to her main Instagram grid with a string of selfies which she said showed her 'rare' appearance. Alongside the mixture smiling and posing snaps, Tasha said: "Very rare moments of me being glam at the moment," and it didn't take long for the comments to come flooding in.

The messages included one from Tess who simply wrote in the comments section: "Inside & Out," alongside a love heart eyes emoji. Tasha then responded to the message: "Ahhh you’re so beautiful thank you Tess." Judge Motsi Mabuse also responded to Tasha's post, writing: "Beauty," and referring to them both going on the Strictly Live tour, Tasha replied: "Can’t wait to see you very soon."
