BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks in 'tough' admission before calling out Sarah Hadland move

by · Manchester Evening News

Pete Wicks has told fans it's been 'tough' in a fresh Strictly Come Dancing training update before he was seen comically calling out Sarah Hadland after spotting her latest move.

The podcast host and reality star made it through to week five of the BBC One dance contest over the weekend alongside professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.

The former TOWIE star was seen debuting an unexpected new look on Saturday night (October 12) - a jet-black Elvis-inspired quiff - as he and Jowita performed a Quickstep to A Town Called Malice by The Jam.

The tattoo shop-themed performance landed Pete and Jowita a very respectable 29 points out of 40 and the it was then on Sunday night (October 13) during the latest results show that it was confirmed Pete and Jowita had made it through to another week.

It has since been confirmed Pete and Jowita will be dancing the notoriously difficult Rumba, the fourth couple to take on the dance this series, to Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis.

But it seems that it hasn't been an easy week for Pete as the time ticks down to his and Jowita's next live performance this Saturday night (October 19).

Taking to his Instagram Story on Wednesday evening (October 16), Pete shared a mirror selfie of himself and his dance partner and said: "I ain't gonna lie, it's been a tough week but we're getting there... @jowitaprzystal."

The pair then spoke directly to their fans and followers in videos posted to Jowita's Instagram Story, and as he spoke about the difficulty of the rumba, Pete soon became distracted after watching actress Sarah and her dance partner Vito Coppola on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two.

"I'm not in a good mood," Pete said in a faux serious experession after seeing his co-star sporting a familar animal-print outfit on the BBC2 show.

He continued: "I've just seen It Takes Two and Sarah is wearing my George of the Jungle outfit. I don't know who gave her permission for that but I'm not happy. SHe didn't ask to borrow it so she's obviously stolen it. Sarah is a thief and I'd like it back." But when Jowita said he'd have to do their Movie Week routine again if he got the outfit back, he said: "She can keep it, I don't want it!"

But as Jowita changed the subject, Pete hilariously added: "I can't think of anything else other than whyshe's taken my outfit," before Sarah shared the videos to her own Instagram Story.
