Stacey Solomon says 'it's a joke' as she concerns fans with tribute to Joe Swash

Stacey Solomon has concerned fans with her appearance while enjoying a romantic break away with her husband Joe Swash to celebrate his birthday.

Loose Women star Stacey joked back in November that she was 'estranged' from her other half as his festive appearance in panto kept him away from her and their children at their family home, named Pickle Cottage, in Essex.

But they were seen reuniting earlier this month, with Stacey sharing a video of the pair cosying up at home to her Instagram Story in which she said: "Guess who's home for good? He's finally finished panto and I've never been so happy. I've got my husband back." She added: "You should leave more often because I really missed you."

After their time apart, it was clear Stacey wanted to make a big effort for Joe's birthday on Monday (January 20) and over the weekend, the Sort Your Life Out host revealed she was whisking Joe away for the night to celebrate his birthday.

In the car on the way to their location, Stacey said in a clip shared to her Instagram Story: "Reporting live and excited from the car... It's Joe's birthday tomorrow so Dave, Grandad's, taken over with the kids for one night so me and Joe can do something together."

She went on: "I'm actually so excited. I haven't told him what we're doing, so he's got no idea but he's been really annoying trying to guess it. Lucky for him, he's not that smart!" She laughed as Joe retorted but Stacey then added: "I'm just so exited to be away with you!"

It was later that Stacey took to Instagram with a video of their calm and quiet location and as she shared a video of the evening setting at a lake with log cabins around, she revealed: "Fishing trip with my @joeswash for his birthday [white heart and face holding back tears emojis]. It's like home from home for me with all the ducks... [crying laughing emoji]."

She's since taken to Instagram once again to give an insight into their time away from their five children as she paid tribute to the birthday boy. Alongside a string of pictures of the pair by the lake they were fishing in, Stacey said in view of her millions of followers: " Happy Birthday Joe Joe."

She went on: "I actually love you so much it’s a joke. Hope you’ve had the best day on the lake where you belong [crying laughing emoji]. To the moon and back Joe! Happy 43."

But Stacey concerned fans for two reasons - one because of her cream-coloured outfit and two because they misread the caption of her post.

Others, meanwhile, were left gushing over the couple among the birthday wishes. @cheriormsby said: "The kind of love we all hope for." @mummysboy12 commented: "Best couple. happy birthday Joe." @amazing_lucyb added: "Going on a fishing break is the sign of true love! Happy birthday, Joe."
