Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has shared her first picture alongside her baby girl after confirming her safe arrival. The actress confirmed she has welcomed her second child with her partner, Ryan Ledson, on Tuesday (January 14).

Lucy, who is famed for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, announced she and Preston North End footballer were expecting baby number two back in August before confirming her arrival into the world, which happened on Saturday (January 11).

Alongside a snap of her baby girl, who could be seen in a fleece-lined baby chair in a floral baby grow with 'Little Sister' embroidered on the front, Lucy - who already has Sonny Jude, 23 months, with Ryan - wrote on Instagram: "Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25 x."

The new mum-of-two was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages from some of her Corrie co-stars. Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby, said: "Congratulations [heart emojis] she is beautiful . Enjoy this special time." Maria Windass actress Samia Longchambon replied: "Little beauty!! Congratulations to you all." Shona Platt star Julia Goulding commented: "She’s absolutely beautiful! Congratulations sweetheart."

Meanwhile, Helen Flanagan, who played Rosie Webster on the ITV soap, simply said: "Congratulations darling." Former Sophie Webster star Brooke Vincent posted: "Stop," alongside a string of love heart eyes emojis, while Alexandra Mardell, who starred as Emma Brooker in the soap, shared: "Beautiful! The 29-year-old was glowing as she posed for the selfie, in which she was sporting a grey two-piece, with her baby girl resting in a pink baby grown and wrapped in a blanket just in one of her arms. She shared the snap simply with pink hearts and stars emojis.

Lucy previously opened up about the heartbreak of suffering a miscarriage before welcoming her first child in 2023. And the soap star previously admitted that the heartbreak served to strengthen her relationship with Ryan.

The actress told OK! magazine: "That changed things and it made us realise that was definitely what we wanted. Situations like that can really test your relationship and when you go through something that’s really horrible you see how the other person deals with stuff and how they support you and how you support them. It just made us closer and stronger."
