BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin called 'rough' as hilarious error spotted on tour as he 'replaces' co-star

Nikita Kuzmin has pointed out a hilarious error as he tous the country with his Strictly Come Dancing co-stars. The professional dancer recently reunited with his co-stars for the string of live shows which take place until February 9.

Nikita, who was paired with hockey star Sam Quek during the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series, was always set to be on Strictly Come Dancing Live tour 2025 as one of the ensemble dancers, he found himself front and centre in Birmingham as he filled in for co-star Vito Coppola and partnered Sarah Hadland while he was left out through injury.

And Sarah and Nikita did end up having an amazing start to the tour as they were voted the winners of the first night. Fans attending the show get to choose their winners before a final winner is decided at the end of the tour based on how many shows they have won.

Sharing pictures from behind-the-scenes last week, Miranda star Sarah cheered: "We only went and won! Best first night with @nikita__kuzmin @strictlycomedancinglive in @utilitaarenabirmingham thank you for an amazing first night - we love you Birmingham."

Sarah has since won another show, but this time with Vito as he made a brief return to the show before Nikita stepped in once again, with no reason yet given for Vito's absence. Strictly Live keeps fans updated with the wins on Instagram and marking Sarah and Nikita's win in Newcastle, a post read: "The winners last night in Newcastle were... Sarah and Vito! The runners up were Tasha and Aljaž. Who got your vote when you saw the show?"

But it didn't take fans long to realise they'd used a photo from the previous shows of Nikita performing with Sarah. He saw the funny side as he commented on the post: "[crying laughing emojis] Vito’s looking a lot like me wow."

Nikita's 2023 Strictly partner Leighton Williams also joined in on the banter as he replied: "Vito is looking rough bless him." Vito responded by saying: "ahahahah," while Nikita himself said: "there he is x could miss the chance lol."

And fans also saw the funny side.
