Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon announces daughter's adorable name days after birth

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has revealed her daughter's adorable name for the first time days after her arrival into the world. The actress confirmed earlier this week she'd welcomed her second child with her partner, Ryan Ledson.

Lucy, who is famed for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, announced she and Preston North End footballer were expecting baby number two back in August and confirmed on Tuesday (January 14) that their baby girl had arrived safe and sound last Saturday (January 11).

Alongside a snap of her baby girl, who could be seen in a fleece-lined baby chair in a floral baby grow with 'Little Sister' embroidered on the front, Lucy - who already has Sonny Jude, 23 months, with Ryan - wrote on Instagram: "Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25 x."

The new mum-of-two was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages from some of her Corrie co-stars as well as her friends and followers. Now, Lucy has confirmed her and Ryan's daughter's name for the first time.

Alongside a number of pictures which showed her bonding with her baby girl as well as showing how her 23-month-old son, Sonny, is reacting to his younger sibling, Lucy confirmed on Instagram: "Our Nancy Margaret Ledson. A dream come true."

Corrie's Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Abi Webster in the ITV soap, said: "Just gorgeous," while Shona Platt actress Julia Goulding simply replied: "Heaven." Cait Fitton, who stars as Lauren Bolton, commented: "I’m so buzzing for you all!! She is absolutely gawjus." Alya Nazir actress Sair Khan shared: "Just beautiful."

Maria Windass star Samia Longchambon posted a string of love heart eyes emoji, as did former Corrie star Brooke Vincent. The latter's former on-screen sister Helen Flanagan also shared: "So beautiful," with more love heart eyes emojis.

Her friends and followers were also quick to respond. @super_v_man said: "Wow… you’re just a SUPERwoman !!!! What a lil beauty." @sw_bevsta111 commented: "Oh what a beautiful name. Welcome to our crazy world Nancy." @bumbleberrypark wrote: "Oh what a beautiful photo, such a gorgeous name too."
