Sabrina Carpenter at Co-op Live - full list of banned items and rules for Manchester shows
by Jenna Campbell · Manchester Evening NewsFor the next two nights, Manchester's Co-op Live arena will come alive with pop-filled hits courtesy of American superstar, Sabrina Carpenter. The Espresso singer will be performing as part of her Short n' Sweet tour.
Taking to the stage at Co-op Live on Thursday, 13 and Friday, 14 March, the popstar's huge tour has stretched across North America, Europe, and the UK. Her Manchester shows come just a couple of weeks after her showstopping performance at the Brits.
Over the last couple of years the Pennsylvania-born performer has experienced a rapid rise to stardom, but she actually launched her music career in 2014 with the release of single ‘Can’t Blame A Girl For Trying’, and subsequently released four studio albums with Hollywood Records.
In 2021, she switched over to Island Records, with whom she released single ‘Skin’ in January of that year. Then, Emails I Can’t Send, which arrived in July 2022, was a defining moment for the singer, marking her most successful album to date and cementing her pop-star status.

Since then she's had chart hits with 'Nonsense' and 'Feather', and attracted a whole new fanbase when she was announced as an opener for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, supporting the singer on her South American, Australian and Singaporean legs.
In April last year, fans were treated to the release of 'Espresso’, the lead single for Carpenter’s sixth studio album, followed two months later by a second single, ‘Please Please Please’ - the latte becoming her first Number 1 hit in America.
