by Daniel Windham · Manchester Evening NewsChristine McGuinness has spoken frankly about navigating life as a single mum following her split from Paddy McGuinness. The Real Housewives of Cheshire alum revealed their separation two years ago, which came after the release of their candid documentary Our Family and Autism in 2021, exploring their family's experiences with autism diagnoses, including Christine's own.
Despite the end of their 11-year marriage, the pair have remained under the same roof to co-parent their children, twins Penelope and Leo, and Felicity, maintaining stability at their Cheshire residence.
In an exclusive chat with Woman's Own, 36-year-old Christine opened up about sharing the family home with Paddy and juggling busy schedules to manage their parenting responsibilities. "We're both really busy so we just try and get in and out whenever we can. There are times when we're there together, and there are times when it's just me or times when it's just him, and that's the way it's always been anyway."
The model and television figure also shared insights into her personal goals, focusing on self-belief for the coming year. She explained: "I think everyone has self-doubt, especially when you're a mum, and you've spent most of your life and your time dedicating it to motherhood and being at home."
In June, the mother of three, opened up about her new relationship, revealing she's the "happiest she'd ever been". Speaking about her love life, Christine shared: "I met them on my birthday through mutual friends and we've been dating since June," reports the Liverpool Echo.

"It's someone I know. I wasn't thinking anything at the time but we kept in touch and it's so nice and laid back."
On navigating her newfound single status, Christine expressed: "When you step out on your own, you want a career - or suddenly you're single like me in your 30s - then you need to find yourself again and who you are."
During an intimate conversation with the ITV Loose Women panel, Christine disclosed: "After having a relationship in the public eye for so long I'm not sure I want the relationship to be public. I've only ever known what it was like to have a relationship that's in the public. This is nice."
She continued to discuss her current partner: "I've been really open and honest from the beginning about where I'm at and they're ok with that. I feel like I'm in good company. I don't get a lot of time to myself but when I do it's lovely and we laugh loads."
