Cameron Diaz has made a huge return to the red carpet - her first appearance in five years.

The 52-year-old actress was alongside her Back In Action co-star Jamie Foxx to promote their new Netflix film. Cameron stepped away from Hollywood around 10 years ago, with her last movie being the 2014 remake of Annie.

However, she made a return to the red carpet to promote her brand new movie, her first red carpet appearance in five years. She last appeared on the red carpet alongside Drew Barrymore and Demi Moore as Lucy Liu collected her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 2019 and hasn't been seen at a red carpet until now.

Cameron stunned in a black top and a sheer black blouse, showing off her figure in a pair of high waisted jeans. She teamed her look with some classic penny loafers as well as a long black coat to complete the look.

Speaking about her decision to act again, she told Empire: "I thought that if I was going to come back and do a movie, the only person I’d come back and do it with would be this guy. Seriously. I had other opportunities along the way and I was always saying, 'No. I'm not doing it, I've told you... What? Jamie asked? Jamie? Oh, I can do a movie with Jamie!'"

Despite taking a break from acting, Cameron has been busy spending time with her family.

"Avaline is the only sort of day-to-day work that I’m doing other than, you know, being a wife and a mother, which has been the most fulfilling. I’m never going to say never about anything in life. I’m just not that person, So will I ever make a movie again? I’m not looking to, but will I? I don’t know. I have no idea. Maybe, never say never," she said back in 2021.

"But I couldn’t imagine like being a mum now where I’m at as a mother with my child at her first year to have to be on a movie set that takes 14 hours, 16 hours of my day away from my child. I just couldn’t. I personally feel like that wasn’t the mum that, I wouldn’t have been the mom that I am now had I chosen to do that at any other time in my life."

Cameron's new movie - directed by Seth Gordon - follows the story of two former CIA spies who are forced back into their previous jobs when their secret identities are exposed.
