“On a dating app, called Raya," she revealed. "It was the first time I’d been on this dating app. I was scrolling through and landed on David’s profile and pressed accept. I didn’t know who he was. I thought he was just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show. He was wearing a policeman’s uniform. It was a still from Stranger Things. I’d never seen Stranger Things.”

She added: "I don’t even know what I was looking for. It was just something to do on holiday, swiping, it’s a bit of fun. When I met him I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere. He was here filming Black Widow. He was only going to be here for a couple of months. And then it did (go somewhere).”

Lily recently told fans that due to focusing on her kids and struggling mentally, she’d been neglecting to eat. She said: "I've been going through a tough time over the last few months, and my eating has become an issue. My therapist and I talk about it, and she says, 'How long has this been going on?' And I said, 'Well, about three years really'. And she's like, 'Okay, why haven't you mentioned it before?'"

"And it's not because I'm lying about it. It's just because it's not seemed at the top of the list of important things that I need to talk about, but obviously, it is. I'm not really good at talking about the bigger picture. That's something about my ADHD as well that I don't link things. And also, my body and my brain are two very separate things to me. I know a lot of people feel those two things are very connected to each other, but for me, it's very different. I spend a lot of time in my head and not a lot of time thinking about my body.”

The singer added: "I'm really not in a great place mentally at the moment, and I'm not eating. I'm not hungry. I obviously am hungry, but my body and brain are so disconnected from each other that my body... the messages of hunger are not going through my body to my brain. I'm not avoiding food, I'm just not thinking about it because I'm so in my head. My body's, like, a few steps behind me."
