BBC Gladiators interrupted as Bradley Walsh shut down by co-star 'I could have told you that'

Gladiators returned for another episode on BBC One on Saturday evening and host Bradley Walsh was caught up in a heated moment with a co-star

Gladiators returned for the highly coveted quarter-final on Saturday night, and the previous contestants returned to take on more challenges.

The male contestants took on their first challenge with Unleash, as contestant Lewis ran as Hammer tried to chase him across an obstacle course.

Lewis successfully retrieved a flag and jumped into a pit before Hammer could reach him, filling him with joy.

However, referee Mark Clattenberg had to review the footage before revealing: "I can confirm that you did it, and I can give you ten points."

Host Bradley Walsh shot back: "I'm not being funny but I could have told you that, could have saved you faffing around on the telly."
