Morning Live stars Gethin Jones and Kimberley Walsh announced exciting news on Wednesday

A Morning Live star halted Wednesday's (October 15) show to announce "wonderful" baby news.

At the start of today's live show, Gethin Jones and Kimberley Walsh sent well wishes to their co-star Michelle Ackerley after she gave birth to her first baby.

"Before we get into the show today, we have some wonderful news to share with you. It happened yesterday," Gethin began.

"Our Michelle Ackerley and Ben, they have had a new addition to the family. It is Nala Lomani Ryan."

A photo of the new parents was then shown on screen, with Gethin adding: "We cannot wait for cuddles!"
