by Hamaiz Iqbal · The MirrorBritain's Got Talent is back on our screens tonight (Saturday 22 February) and with an earlier start date than ever and a brand new judge on the panel, fans couldn't be more excited.
As viewers patiently wait for the first episode to air on ITV1, let's take a look at what last year's winner has been up to since winning the show.
The 2024 series was won by singer Sydnie Christmas, who faced stiff competition from magician Jack Rhodes and dance duo Abigail and Afronitaaa in the final three.
The performer took to the stage to croon a pitch perfect rendition of classic Over The Rainbow, and blew both the judges and viewers at home away.
In July last year, Sydnie announced her very first tour which would see her travel up and down the country in October for the 'My Way' tour.
She performed in various cities including London, Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford, Nottingham, Canterbury and many more. She released her first single, Starlight Express in July, which was an ode to her favourite Andrew Lloyd Webber musical of the same name.
Sydnie followed this up with her second single, My Way, which released on September 6. The singer released her debut album of the same name in October, which ended up hitting the number one position on the iTunes Albums Top Charts.
Sharing her excitement and gratitude, she took to Instagram to pen: "I have literally no words, this all feels like a dream. One I hope to never wake up from. Love you all for making this possible."
Sydnie was announced as part of the line-up of performers at David Foster's 75th Birthday, alongside legends including Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Jennifer Hudson and Kristin Chenoweth.
Showing off her acting prowess during Christmas time, she performed as part of The Orchard Theatre's Sleeping Beauty pantomime.
In November, she finally took to the stage at The Royal Albert Hall to sing in front of King Charles, which is of course a part of the Britain's Got Talent winner's prize.
Just this month, the brunette beauty revealed she was taking her singing career Stateside with her very first headline show in the US.
She wrote on Instagram: "I am honestly so grateful for these amazing opportunities and getting to live my dream. Thank you for making it all possible for me."
