PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2025 games release time – every game leaving this month

Plenty of new games are coming to the Extra and Premium tiers of PS Plus, including the promised original Armored Core trilogy, but we have to lose a few games first.

PS Plus is back for another drop, but we have to suffer a few losses before the new games touch down.

PS Plus is swinging back with another PS Plus Extra and Premium collection of games, but it might be proving that 2025 only has room to offer a quality drop to one tier of gamers per month. Usually, it’s PS Plus Extra that comes through with the gold, with the PS Plus Extra and Premium February 2025 games dropping Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and the first chapter of Lost Records: Bloom and Rage as a day one release, and its PS Plus Essential February 2025 counterpart suffering with a lacklustre delivery like a headlining Payday 3.

This month, though, it seems that the tables have turned – the PS Plus Essential March 2025 drop offered an unprecedented arrival in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a recent AAA RPG that was never expected to arrive on any free access service, let alone Essential. It was hoped that the PS Plus Extra and Premium March games would follow suit, but it struggled to keep up the pace, headlined by UFC 5 and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which are no doubt great games, but they’re not exactly the big names that players were hoping for.

Regardless, though, the games are coming, and they’ll find their intended audience in due course – but we need to know when the games are dropping first before we can get too excited about getting stuck in. Here’s what you need to know about the PS Plus Extra March 2025 arrival time, and what games will be leaving the service in the process.

PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2025 arrival time

The PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2025 arrival time is set for 3am PDT / 6am EDT / 10am GMT on Tuesday, March 18. We can expect that the games will arrive this time as even though daylight savings has led to a lot of confusion and forced PlayStation to break a years-established timing trend with its PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2025 reveal, the games that are set to leave the service are still set to leave at2am PDT / 5am EDT / 9am GMT on the same day. Month after month, the games will always depart exactly an hour before the new games arrive, so we can deduce that the regular time will still go ahead as planned.

PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2025 games leaving

The following games are set to leave the PS Plus service an hour before the new ones arrive (so that’ll be 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 9am GMT on Tuesday, March 18) according to the PlayStation store issuing an “offer ends” statement to each game:

It’s a shame to see so many fighting games go in one fell swoop, especially as there haven’t been many new fighting releases in 2025 so far. Either way, it’s a strong collection of games boasting a fantastic (if short) Resident Evil game, so do what you can to complete it before it leaves the service for good.
