Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara makes savage dig at Aljaž Škorjanec live on TV

Janette Manrara was interviewing her husband Aljaž Škorjanec and his celebrity dance partner Tasha Ghouri on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two

Janette Manara made a cheeky dig at her husband Aljaž Škorjanec live on Strictly: It Takes Two today.

Whilst Janette doesn't dance on Strictly Come Dancing anymore, she hosts the spin-off show It Takes Two, where she regularly welcomes the show's celebrities and their dance partners to chat about their upcoming routines.

Tonight, it was the turn of Alijaz and his celebrity partner Tasha Ghouri to chat about their time on the show so far and how their rehearsals were going ahead of their American Smooth to Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi.

Speaking on the show today, Tasha said: "It was just incredible being in the ballroom, the audience; it was a different feeling. It was so magical and so special and to be able to dance somewhere is something to be so grateful for. And dancing with Alijaz aswell."

Janette quickly quipped back, adding of her husband: "Yeah he's alright."

Alijaz made his return to the ballroom for this series, with Janette admitting their relationship has changed since he came back.

She said: "I feel like I’ve fallen in love with him all over again! I fell in love watching him dance, so now watching him dance again - because when we met we went dancing together - now, when I see him back on the screen dancing, I'm like, 'Oh, I fancy him again!'"

Now the pair are both back working for the show, they have had to balance work with their home life.

She explained: "We are commuting so the plan is that Lyra and I go down to London on Wednesday and we stay Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Aljaz in London and then we come back home on Saturday ...

"I went to watch Strictly on Saturday night in the studio. I really wanted to watch the first 'Icons Week' and it was incredible so I'm so glad I was there for it. Then on Sunday we had Robin's remembrance show, The Final Act. It was quite an emotional Sunday."

She added: "We've just been cuddling all day, [to Lyra] haven't we? I try not to be on my phone when I'm with her because I don't like her seeing me on my phone. I want her to know she's got Mommy's attention so it's a bit harder for me to post and get things done when I'm with her. But we've been having amazing days... I just wanted to pop on and say hello."
