Love Island's Ekin-Su leaves co-stars reeling with announcement day into series
Love Island All Stars 2025 viewers had plenty to say about a twist on Tuesday night, as Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu stole Curtis Pritchard from Kaz Crossley in unexpected scenes
by Charlotte Tutton · The MirrorThere was quite the twist on Love Island All Stars on Tuesday night, as we found out who bombshell Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu had chosen to couple up with.
The Love Island legend was tasked with stealing an already taken man on Monday night, told she would make the decision the following day after a date with three guys. Tuesday's episode saw the moment arise when Ekin-Su had to announce the boy she wanted to couple up with.
The guy she chose came as a surprise to many, with it seeing one couple torn apart just a day into the show. Her co-stars were left visibly stunned with her decision, as she made the surprising announcement just a day into the ITV2 series kicking off.
On this year's All Stars line-up are Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed , Marcel Somerville and Scott Thomas. Joining them are Olivia Hawkins, Catherine Agbaje, Ronnie Vint, Luca Bish, India Reynolds and Elma Pazar.
The current bombshells are Ekin-Su and Casey O'Gorman with more to be announced. Maya Jama returned to host proceedings on Monday night, with the drama continuing on Tuesday as the Islanders got settled.
So when Ekin-Su declared she had picked Curtis as her new man, leaving his original partner Kaz single, there was a shocked reaction. She left her fellow Islanders stunned with the choice, as they all believed she would go for Scott, while Elma thought Ronnie would be stolen from her.
India was heard saying: "I am shocked," as Scott said: "Wow." Whether Ekin-Su and Curtis will last remains to be seen, especially as he was keen to get to know Kaz.
It comes amid the news of a second bombshell entering the villa, with a clash on the horizon. Following in the footsteps off Scott van-der-Sluis, Casey will be trying his luck at finding love for a third time.
The 28-year-old rose to fame on the 2023 winter series of the show and returned for the first edition of All Stars last year. When asked why he wanted to return again, he said: "Getting to go in within the first few days of the show, I feel like I’ve got such a big opportunity to find someone and hopefully come out of the Villa potentially with a girlfriend."
The star says he's looking for something with 'matching' energy. Speaking of green flags he looks out for, he added: "Having the same interests. They’ve got to be very health conscious, we’ve got to be working out together, I think that’s a massive thing for me. I’m super into my fitness."
