Molly-Mae spotted with Tommy Fury for first time amid 'secret reunion'
Love Island alums Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury reunited alongside their daughter Bambi a week after Tommy bravely opened up about his issues with alcohol
by Katie Francis · The MirrorMolly-Mae Hague looked super comfortable as she reunited with Tommy Fury at her home.
The boxer was spotted dropping in at Molly-Mae’s £3.8 million Cheshire mansion, where he used to live with her before their split. Tommy was there to pick up Bambi for some dad and daughter bonding time, before the tot turns two on the 23rd.
Molly-Mae still seemed comfortable around her ex, keeping things casual as she went completely makeup-free with her hair clasped back in a clip. In photos obtained by The Sun, the star popped out into the cold in just her pyjamas, paired with Uggs. Molly-Mae stood with Tommy as they loaded Bambi into the back of his Mercedes-Benz 4x4, and the duo seemed to smile as they had a quick chat before a chilly-looking Molly ran back inside.
Molly-Mae and Tommy met on Love Island in 2019, and went on to move in together and welcome Bambi, in January 2023. However, the ITV stars announced their split in August 2024 - before seeming to rekindle things over the festive season.
Some fans were furious after hearing of their NYE kiss, and accused them of lying with some claiming the pair never actually split up and it was all for exposure.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "Well she fooled everyone. Funny how they are back together now his book is out, her clothing brand and now documentary is done. Played everyone like a fool all for more money."
A second agreed: "Using the “breakup” as PR for Maebe, Tommy’s book & documentary. But snogging Tommy on NYE? Convenient!!!”
“IT WAS ALL A PR STUNT. Well played; So the breakup WAS fake??" A third raged, with a fourth claiming: "They didn’t even really split, money money money."
In an interview with Men's Health last week, however, Tommy finally opened up about the split, confirming that the duo ended things. He also reiterated that he never cheated, and bravely admitted that issues with alcohol were the cause of his relationship breakdown.
Revealing the true reason behind the split, Manchester-born Tommy explained: "We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol, and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn't. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink."
He clarified: "Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it. If you're in the same spot as me, where you just think that it's going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You wake up even worse, and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That's the cycle of it.
"I've got myself out of that now, but I just wish people would've taken some time out, rather than giving me so much s*** every day, to think maybe there was more going on."
