Love Island 2025 fans question bosses' latest move as they fume 'no one asked for this'
Love Island All Stars 2025 viewers all had the same question on Tuesday night, as Casey O'Gorman made a return to the villa as a bombshell for his third stint as an Islander
by Charlotte Tutton · The MirrorThere was drama on Love Island on Tuesday night, as bombshell Casey O'Gorman headed back to the villa for a third chance at love.
But fans were left issuing the same question to show bosses after the news he would be heading back to the villa. Casey has been on the main show and both series of All Stars.
His third stint on the ITV2 dating series has sparked quite the reaction, with many fans fuming: "No one asked for this". This year's All Stars line-up includes Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed, Marcel Somerville and Scott Thomas.
Joining them are Olivia Hawkins, Catherine Agbaje, Ronnie Vint, Luca Bish, India Reynolds and Elma Pazar. The first bombshell to arrive was Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, before Casey headed to the villa at the end of Tuesday's episode.
He ended up clashing with Kaz over his antics on and off the show, and soon things got tense in the villa. Casey also confessed he was "home", joking the villa felt like home to him after three goes.
But while the Islanders were thrilled, mostly, to see him back, viewers did not share this energy. In fact, many fans were left questioning show bosses and their decision to sign up Casey yet again as a bombshell.
Taking to X, many fans fumed over the choice especially as he was the first male bombshell of the series. One viewer posted: "Having Casey as the first male bombshell gives me absolutely no hope for the rest of the bombshell lineup… who asked for this?!"
A second fan posted: "Casey AGAIN," as a third wrote: "Casey is back again, I just want to know why." A fourth viewer quizzed: "Why is he back again," as a fourth said: "Literally NO ONE asked for Casey."
The 28-year-old rose to fame on the 2023 winter series of the show and returned for the first edition of All Stars last year. When asked why he wanted to return again, he said: "Getting to go in within the first few days of the show, I feel like I’ve got such a big opportunity to find someone and hopefully come out of the Villa potentially with a girlfriend."
The star says he's looking for something with 'matching' energy. Speaking of green flags he looks out for, he added: "Having the same interests. They’ve got to be very health conscious, we’ve got to be working out together, I think that’s a massive thing for me. I’m super into my fitness."
Prior to this, it was bombshell Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu causing drama on night one. She was taken with taking three of the guys on dates before getting to pick one Islander to pair up with on Tuesday night.
