Rebekah Vardy's jaw-dropping 'revenge plot' against Coleen Rooney revealed before I'm A Celeb

Rebekah Vardy reportedly can't let things lie with WAG rival Coleen Rooney and is hatching a plan to get her own back after losing the Wagatha Christie trial

Rebekah Vardy is said to be hatching a 'revenge plot' against WAG rival Coleen Rooney.

As Coleen landed in Australia to appear in the latest series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, which kicks off on Sunday, Rebekah will be sunning herself at a six-star resort in Dubai in a hotel suite reported to be costing a whopping £10,000 a night.

Famous for their 'Wagatha Christie' court case - in which Coleen accused Rebekah of being the person who had secretly sold stories on her to The Sun newspaper – Rebekah was seen 'fleeing the country' as she was pictured at the airport with footballer husband Jamie Vardy as Coleen geared for her stint on the ITV show.

Donning matching beige tracksuits in pictures exclusively obtained by the Mirror, the couple looked smug as they waited to fly out to their luxury holiday. And a source claimed that Rebekah, 42, thinks it's 'hilarious' Coleen, 38, will be doing Bushtucker Trials while she's sipping on champagne on a sun lounger.

Though it was actually Rebekah - who was the one who brought the failed libel case against Coleen - it seems she just can't let it lie. And the former I'm A Celeb campmate, who appeared on the show back in 2017, is rumoured to be plotting her 'next move' to stir things up with Coleen.

A friend of Rebekah's reportedly told the Daily Mail: "The holiday came along at quite a fortuitous time. Jamie has a weekend off playing for Leicester as there is an international break so they thought they'd escape for some sun.

"But it isn’t lost on Becky that she will be sipping her champagne while Coleen will be eating witchetty grubs. Becky thinks it’s hilarious and of course she will be tuning into the show. She'll watch from a hotel suite that Coleen would be so envious of while she is slumming it on I’m A Celeb – and Rebekah will be showing everyone."

It's said fans can expect Rebekah to post a string of Instagram photos showing off her luxury holiday as Coleen is eating witchetty grubs in the jungle. But with Coleen not even having a phone in there, she won't actually see any of it until she is out -if she is even bothered at all.

The source continued: "It never ceases to amaze those around Becky that she has still got the appetite to wind Coleen up. And let’s face it, the best opportunity has come up, you can’t help thinking that Becky has currently had the last laugh here. Becky is on the outside, she can stick two fingers up at Coleen. Far from being horrified about losing the High Court case, she is once again cleverly finding a way to use Coleen’s appearance to her own gain. Becky hasn’t forgotten all of this and she never will."

When Rebekah appeared on I'm A Celebrity she was reportedly paid £100,000 and ended up being third to be voted out of camp. But with Coleen's rumoured £1.5 million fee - said to the highest for any celebrity in the show's 22-year history - and being one of the early favourites to win, will Becky's archnemesis be the one laughing all the way to the bank?

There were rumours ITV bosses were planning for Rebekah to join the I'm A Celeb camp halfway through, which would no doubt horrify Coleen. But it's thought ITV is firmly 'team Coleen'. They have even bought the rights to Coleen's candid Disney+ documentary, Coleen Rooney: The real Wagatha Christie story, which first aired on the paid for channel last year.
