Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans has reportedly been hit with two more claims of inappropriate language used.

The Go Compare advert star, 53, has been under fire over his vile remark towards Janette Manrara during a photocall at the Strictly launch show. He was filmed while making an inappropriate sexual comment to Janette, who acts as host on the tour, when she walked over to the group.

He was heard singing: "Go Compare," before adding: "Not too close to Jamie [Borthwick]." He was then heard using the demeaning term "spit roast" in reference to a lewd sexual act. It wasn't long before Wynne confirmed his departure from the live tour, with the star saying in a statement: "I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.

"I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. Apologies to those I won’t get to see at the remaining performances and I’m grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me.”

Following his axing from the remainder of the tour, it has been claimed the BBC was told of two other times concerns were raised about the language he used. According to The Sun, one was reportedly on his BBC Wales radio show and the other time was during filming for his BBC One travel show Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea.

A BBC spokesperson said: “Whilst we do not comment on individuals, we take any issues that are raised with us seriously and we have robust processes in place to deal with them. We are always clear that any behaviour which falls below the standards expected by the BBC will not be tolerated. “

Moments before his inappropriate remark towards Janette was publicised, Wynne had told Mirror that dance partner Katya Jones "puts up with me". He told prior to the controversial moment: "It is really nice, it is lovely. She is lovely, she is very fun and she puts up with me which is very hard."

He also reflected on his time on Strictly and said: "I really enjoyed my time on Strictly, it was really good. I had a great time. Leant a new skill, made a new friend. Not Katya. Obviously Jamie, no Katya. It was just brilliant. It was a really uplifting experience and one of personal growth."

When he announced his departure, his dance partner Katya took to her Instagram Stories to defend the opera singer, with the star writing: "Let's show humanity and consideration. I will miss you my darling boy."
