Love Island fans left bewildered over awkward India Reynolds outburst

Love Island viewers were pretty vocal when it came to sharing how they felt about the latest episode after India Reynolds decided to air how she felt about her co-stars

Love Island fans called out the strange mindset in the villa after India Reynolds slammed her fellow Islanders.

In tonight's episode, Tina made her bombshell entrance into the villa. Tina, who had been on the same previous series as Scott Thomas, chose to go on a date with him, even though Scott was currently coupled up with India. During their previous series, Tina had gone on a date with Scott but couldn’t pursue a connection, as he was with fellow Islander Kady McDermott at the time.

After the date in today’s episode, Scott went to debrief India, telling her that he was interested in getting to know Tina more, as he felt he had missed that opportunity before. He explained: "When she first came in, she was my stereotypical type, but I was fully locked in with Kady. It’s weird because I feel like I owe it to her and to myself to get to know her." Scott added: "Sometimes I feel like I’m talking to a friend."

India remained calm but later debriefed with Elma, expressing her frustration. She said: "I just don’t like the vibe that I’ve gotta sit and watch you chat to another girl." India added: "Do you know what I don't like in here, I hate that it's one of them things that, 'If you say it then its ok, if you tell the person then it's ok'. I just think all of that is a load of sh**e"

Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, with their reactions. One User wrote: "At least India is the one finally clocking its f***ing weird that it’s okay to f*** someone over as long as you ‘let them know” Another user defended Scott for pursuing a new connection, saying: "India and Scott are hot… but like zero chemistry???"

In a teaser clip for tomorrow night's episode, Casey asked India during a game: "Who do you think is the most calculated in here?" to which India pointed to Scott, teasing that tensions between the pair may be escalating.

Nearly a decade ago, during Tina's first appearance on the show, she selected Scott for a date. Tina first entered the public spotlight in 2016 when she was a contestant on season two of ITV2’s Love Island - the same year that Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey won the show.

In the years since Tina had settled with a handsome man who she worked hard to keep out of the spotlight. However, reports emerged last year that they had split. Fans were stunned as she made a comeback to the villa as one said: "That Bombshell is TINA." Another added: "Loved herrrr!" Someone else commented: "Girls it’s TINA, season 2 Tina, that stole Scott for a date and kady went MENTAL." A fourth wrote: "not tina omgggg now that ate." Another fan shared: "No way was that Tina stinnes? Her and Casey have history!!" A fan quipped: "Tina is back, she looks very different!."

Speaking about why she wants to make a comeback, Tina said: "It was the best experience that I’ve ever had, it made me learn about myself and grow. I was quite a shy person, so to put myself in that environment was very outside of my comfort zone, but I made friends for life. I was a bridesmaid at Olivia Bowen’s wedding, she’s still one of my best friends, going through that with someone is the best. I’d also love to meet a man of course too! I’ve been single for a long time, it’s about time."

Tina revealed she is hoping to have a relationship like Olivia and Alex Bowen. She added: "I just love how loyal they are to each other, especially when we came out, everyone had opinions and I thought ‘I swear they adore each other’ and still to this day they’re so happy."
