Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 announced for consoles & PC in 2027
Bandai Namco seems to be repping a new story influenced heavily by Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero in Xenoverse's latest game.
by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsBandai Namco has announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, marking the latest chapter in the created-character Dragon Ball action-RPG spinoff series. It will be coming to Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2027.
The trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 was dropped on the Bandai Namco YouTube channel today, giving us a mostly animated look at the next game for now. Dimps, which has been working on Xenoverse since the beginning of the series, is still developing Xenoverse 3.
It would seem that we’ll be taking on a character working for Bulma and Capsule Corps again, stopping “incidents,” which might still refer to anomalies like we’ve dealt with in previous games. In Xenoverse 2, that resulted in us working for the Time Patrol for Trunks to go to different iconic points of Dragon Ball history, discover distortions that are changing the history, and fix them by defeating the forces distorting events. It’s unknown if we’ll be on the Time Patrol this time, as the suits of the player characters in this game had “GS” on their uniforms.
Either way, with a 2027 release window set for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, players will want to stay tuned for all of the details as they drop, right here on the Xenoverse series topic.
