More than 10 years after the release of Alien: Isolation, we have our first look at its sequel. A brief teaser was released over the weekend, setting the stage for the highly anticipated horror game.

The first teaser for the Alien: Isolation sequel was shared on YouTube by publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly. Titled “False Sense Of Security,” the 25-second teaser shows an interior door unlocking and opening to reveal a dark and rainy exterior. It then cuts to a close shot of a phone booth labeled “EMERGENCY.” The phone can be heard ringing under the heavy rain.

The video’s description on YouTube also provides a definition for its title, reading, “A feeling of being safer than one really is.”

Alien: Isolation was heralded for its enemy design, which saw the Xenomorph studying player behavior, using it to sneak up on them and get the upper hand. In 2024, Sega announced that a sequel to Alien: Isolation was in development as the game celebrated its 10th anniversary.
