Skate Story will launch on Nintendo Switch 2

Sam Eng and Devolver Digital will bring the highly-anticipated Skate Story to Switch 2.

After years of anticipation, Skate Story is set to arrive by the end of this year. Previously announced for PlayStation 5 and PC, it’s been revealed that the upcoming skateboarding game will also be available on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Sam Eng announced the Switch 2 version of Skate Story with a new trailer this morning. It features over a minute of new gameplay footage, showcasing the game’s surreal environments and skateboarding mechanics. We also see a brief sequence of the player speaking with Happycube, an NPC.

Skate Story’s Switch 2 announcement comes just days after the latest Nintendo Direct, which featured announcements regarding various upcoming games for both the Switch 2 and original Switch.
