Yoshi and the Mysterious Book comes to Switch 2 next spring

Yoshi is getting a new 2D platformer with a storybook aesthetic.

The Mario 40th Anniversary segment of the Nintendo Direct featured a new game announcement for one of the iconic plumber’s most trusted allies, Yoshi. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a new 2D platformer that puts the green dinosaur in the spotlight, and it's coming exclusively to the Switch 2 next spring.

The first trailer for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book begins with the titular book, known as Mr. E, appearing on an island. From here, Yoshi embarks on an adventure with the book to uncover its secrets.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will come to Switch 2 next spring. It was announced alongside games like Mario Tennis Fever and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
