Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve announced for 2026

The Ace Combat series is soaring back onto consoles and PC next year.

Bandai Namco appeared at The Game Awards to announce Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. The newest installment in the combat flight sim series is set to launch in 2026 for consoles and PC.

The announcement trailer for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve shows off the game’s visuals, as the player explores an aircraft carrier at sea and eventually takes flight. A brief story description reveals that the player will be taking on the “Wings of Theve” mantle.

Earlier this year, Ace Combat’s brand director said that “everything is in place” for the franchise’s next big thing.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theves will come to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026.
