The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake will have a 'Threads of Time' quest log
We'll have an easier time tracking what we need to do next with the Threads of Time in the Ocarina of Time remake.
by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsWith a major direct focusing partially on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, we also received a bunch of details about changes to the new game. One of those is a quest log called the Threads of Time, which will allow players to keep track of where to go and what they need to do next.
The Threads of Time were shown in the Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Direct, which came with a deep dive into the Ocarina of Time remake. There we learned that whenever we’re feeling a bit lost, we can pop open the menu and check the Threads of Time to figure out where the next step in the quest will take us.
This is a helpful change from the original. In the Nintendo 64 Ocarina of Time, you simply had to remember where you were in the journey. There was no quest log. So re-acquainting yourself with where you were in the story could be a bit of a process. With this change, that won’t be an issue for anyone when the next step in the quest is a menu away.
The Ocarina of Time remake is coming in early November. Stay tuned to the game’s topic for more news and updates.
