We’ve enjoyed following Phantom Blade Zero. It was one of my favorite games at Tokyo Game Show 2024 when it was beginning to make playable rounds. Contributing editor Lexi Luddy also enjoyed a showing of the game at TGS 2025. Its intense and beautiful combat, action platforming, and mystifying environment design have continued to impress, and the inclusion of action film actor Donnie Yen as its main protagonist adds some star power.
With an October release date set and the State of Play comi9ng next week, stay tuned to the Phantom Blade Zero topic for updates.
