It looks like this week will have some major news and reveals to share for the upcoming Kirby Air Riders. Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct that will focus entirely on the game ahead of its release sometime in 2025. The Kirby Air Riders Direct will be about 45 minutes long with Masahiro Sakurai in attendance to share the details about what’s coming in the game. What’s more, it’s happening on Tuesday this week.

The Kirby Air Riders Nintendo Direct was initially announced on Nintendo Today. According to the announcement, the Kirby Air Riders Nintendo Direct will run on Tuesday, August 19, at 6 a.m. PT and last for 45 minutes and share never-before-seen information and features from the game. We could also see a concrete release date here. The Direct will be wholly focused on Kirby Air Riders, so don’t expect to learn about new Nintendo titles here.

Director Masahiro Sakurai made this his debut return to game development following his finished work on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the following Creating Games YouTube series. It should come as little surprise, then, that he will be present during the Kirby Air Riders Direct to speak to its new information and reveals, not unlike his Mr. Sakurai Presents showcases back during Smash Bros. Ultimate’s active support days.

With a proper presentation from Sakurai on Kirby Air Riders coming tomorrow, we’re sure to get lots of fun new information about the game. Stay tuned to the Kirby Air Riders topic for more updates.
