Dead by Daylight has tweaked its formula nicely with the relatively new 2v8 mode that pits two killers against eight survivors, and it’s getting a few more characters for the roster that will bump up the fun. Pyramid Head from Silent Hill and Dracula from Castlevania will become available for play in 2v8 from now until later this November.

Behaviour Interactive shared the details of Dracula and Pyramid Head’s inclusion in the 2v8 mode in a new trailer this week. The mode will feature the two as it runs for a temporary event going from now until November 20, 2025. Then, 2v8 will go offline again for the time being.

Konami’s Pyramid Head and Dracula have already been in Dead by Daylight and are available in the regular game as DLC characters. Pyramid Head came to the game in 2020 as part of its Silent Hill collaboration that also say Heather Mason come in on the survivors side. Meanwhile, Dracula joined the game with Trevor Belmont in its Castlevania collaboration. Pyramid Head runs a control style of game where he trap paths with barbed wire and teleport caught players to coffin cages throughout the map. Dracula is more aggressive, using his various forms and magic to chase after players and hunt them down.

The two of them together should make for an interesting dynamic. If  you want to check them out in tandem, be sure to jump into Dead by Daylight while the Silent Hill x Castlevania 2v8 session is running and stay tuned to the Dead by Daylight topic for more updates.
