Stranger Than Heaven gets winter 2026 release window & will launch on Game Pass
In addition to Xbox Game Pass, Stranger Than Heaven will release on Steam and PlayStation 5.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio shared the details of Stranger Than Heaven’s release window at the end of the Xbox Presents focused on the game. There, the developers shared the winter 2026 window. In addition to day one release on Game Pass, the game will also come to Steam and PlayStation 5 platforms.
Ryu Ga Gotoku revealed Stranger Than Heaven in June 2026 and has been cooking up hype for its new IP since. While not directly related to the Yakuza, Like a Dragon, or Judgment games, it has garnered interest in its tease of an era-spanning adventured running through several decades of the Japanese criminal underworld.
