Will Helldivers 2 be on Xbox Game Pass?

After too long on the sidelines, Xbox players can finally prepare to jump into Helldivers 2. The Illuminate are up to no good, the bugs are scurrying around the place, and we can hear the clanking of the bots around the next corner. The backup will be much appreciated. As eager as our comrades in green are to dive in, I can already hear an important question being asked: Will you be able to get Helldivers 2 as part of your Game Pass subscription?

Will Helldivers 2 be on Game Pass?

No, Helldivers 2 will not be on Game Pass. The game will release with two editions. The Standard Edition will cost you $39.99, while the Super Citizen Edition will cost $59.99. You can pre-order either addition to get the following three sets or armor.

• 'TR-7 Ambassador of the Brand' - Promotional armor made by SUMY Corp. as part of a highly successful marketing campaign for frozen yogurt.
• 'TR-62 Knight' - Crafted to deliver Justice to the darkest crevices of the galaxy.
• 'TR-9 Cavalier of Democracy' - Bearers of this armor ride no equine mount, but are nonetheless borne to battle atop the trusty steed of Liberty.

The Super Citizen Edition will also include the following items:

• DP-53 Savior of the Free Armour Set
• Will of the People Cape
• MP-98 Knight Weapon
• Super Citizen Status
• Stratagem Hero Ship Game
• Premium Warbond Token

While it would be nice for the game to appear on Game Pass, it is likely a step too far for Sony, the game's publisher. Helldivers 2 has been one of the best-selling games on PlayStation 5 since it was released, so they are unlikely to want to dilute the potential earnings from what should be very high sales figures when the game arrives on Xbox on August 26.
