Finally, democracy lovers on Xbox can jump into the fight in Helldivers 2.

After spending countless lives in defence of democracy on PlayStation and PC, Helldivers 2 is finally making its way to Xbox platforms. It's a significant move for Sony, no doubt one designed to help replenish the ranks now that the Illuminate are becoming a pressing issue in the game.

Will Helldivers 2 have crossplay between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC?

Yes, Helldivers 2 will feature crossplay between all platforms, which means Helldivers on PlayStation and PC can jump in with their buddies on Xbox on August 26 and help skill them in the ways of war. These new recruits will need to be shown how to juke a Charger, the best way to bring down a Bile Titan, and of course, how to do cool tactical rolls when things get heavy in combat.

There will be two versions of the game available on Xbox: the Standard Edition and the Super Citizen Edition. Pre-orders will net you three armor sets, while the Super Citizen Edition will also include the DP-53 Savior of the Free Armor Set, Will of the People Cape, MP-98 Knight weapon, Super Citizen Status, Stratagen Hero Ship Game, and Premium Warbond Token.

The preorder bonuses are:

• 'TR-7 Ambassador of the Brand' - Promotional armor made by SUMY Corp. as part of a highly successful marketing campaign for frozen yogurt.
• 'TR-62 Knight' - Crafted to deliver Justice to the darkest crevices of the galaxy.
