After years of rumors and leaks, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has been given an official release date of July 9, 2026. The remake of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag touts visual enhancements and refined mechanics.

Ubisoft announced the release date for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced during a livestream presentation today. The studio also provided an extended look at gameplay, including combat, naval warfare, and open-world exploration.

The showcase included side-by-side footage of the original Black Flag and the remake. In addition to visual upgrades, Ubisoft says that Black Flag Resynced features new parkour moves and animations. The developers have also gotten rid of the auto-fail that would trigger if a player was discovered during some stealth sequences.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is the latest game to join the summer slate of game releases. The game was confirmed earlier this year as part of an overarching update on the state of the Assassin’s Creed series.
