Star Fox announced for Nintendo Switch 2

The new Star Fox game is based on Star Fox 64.

Nintendo has announced Star Fox, a new entry in the series based on Star Fox 64. It's set to launch in June for the Nintendo Switch 2.

The Star Fox reveal came during the May 6 Star Fox Direct. The game features Fox McCloud, Falco, and Slippy Toad on an adventure with enhanced visuals and mechanics. A modern version of Star Fox 64, Star Fox includes new cutscenes, including mission briefings. Star Fox will be released on June 25 for Nintendo Switch 2.

The Star Fox Direct was announced on X by Shigeru Miyamoto on X just ten minutes of time until it began.
