Resident Evil Requiem will come to Nintendo Switch 2

Capcom's next main entry in its legendary survival horror franchise is also coming to Switch 2 when it launches in February 2026.

Capcom is gearing up for a huge release next year when its next Resident Evil game, Resident Evil Requiem, and it seems like the Nintendo Switch 2 will be part of the fun. During this week’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo and Capcom surprised us by sharing that Resident Evil Requiem will be coming to the Switch 2 when it comes to all other platforms in February 2026.

Capcom shared the reveal of Resident Evil Requiem on Nintendo Switch 2 during the September 2025 Nintendo Direct. There, we got a look at Requiem running on Nintendo Switch 2 hardware. It didn’t look far different from other versions in quality, short of things like light and hair being slightly lower quality. Regardless, it looks like Nintendo Switch 2 will join PC and other platforms in the February 27, 2026 release date.
