Anne Hathaway Reveals 'Devil Wears Prada 2' Dress Code Suggestion for Fans

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is incoming on May 1, 2026, and it's definitely a "gather all your friends and head to the theater" situation. More specifically, it's a "gather all your friends and actually make an effort getting dressed" situation.

Anne Hathaway is here to encourage everyone to dress up for the film, saying the dress code is simple: wear something Miranda Priestly approved.

"I’m hoping everybody dresses up and goes to the movies," she told Vogue. "I hope people remember how much fun they had wearing hot pink and going to see Barbie. I’m hoping that everybody puts on their favorite Miranda Priestly-approved outfit and just has a blast."

The Devil Wears Prada 2 follows Miranda as she—per Variety—"navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and faces off against [Emily] Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs." And judging from the new trailer, it looks like Andy is back at Runway—though Miranda doesn't remember her (classic).
