Taylor Swift Is Officially in NYC Ahead of Her MSG Wedding

It’s HAPPENING. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebrations are going down in a mere matter of days at Madison Square Garden, where large groups of workers have been spotted setting up for the big event—even placing a red carpet on the steps. And with the wedding just two days away, Taylor Swift has officially touched down in New York City!

Page Six reports that Taylor’s private plane has “landed in the New York area,” and that Taylor’s van was spotted heading to the gym shortly after her arrival. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce was seen by TMZ jogging through Tribeca on a solo run ahead of the big day.

Tay and Travis are expected to be hosting a rehearsal dinner at MSG on Thursday, July 2, before celebrations kick off with upward of 1,000 guests on Friday, July 3. According to Page Six, the couple is building a giant castle inside MSG (white banisters were photographed being loaded into the venue), which will be nestled inside a garden. Shipping boxes containing trees have been spotted, and apparently workers have been seen carrying drapes and sewing machines as part of Tay’s plan to transform the arena into a magical wedding venue.

By the way, despite this all going down right in the middle of Manhattan, the wedding itself is expected to be pretty private. MSG doesn’t have windows, guests can enter through an underground parking lot, and street closures mean paps and fans won’t have much access. In other words: don’t expect pics until Taylor releases them!
