Meghan Trainor Just Abruptly Canceled Her 2026 Tour. Here’s What’s Going On.
· CosmopolitanMeghan Trainor is no longer going on tour. The “All About That Bass” singer abruptly canceled the Girl Get In tour just a few months before its opening night, and wrote a note to fans explaining the decision. Basically, she needs to focus on her family and be home with her kids.
“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the ‘Get in Girl’ tour,” she wrote on Instagram. “Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now.”
Meghan and her husband, Daryl Sabara, welcomed their third child together (a baby girl named Mikey Moon Trainor) back in January and also have two boys named Riley and Barry.
The singer went on to address fans who had bought tickets and were looking forward to the tour, saying, “I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down. But I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now.”
As for what’s next, Meghan said, “I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always.”
Meghan announced the Girl Get In tour back in November, and it was initially slated to run from June 12 to August 15, just after her new studio album Toy With Me drops on April 24.
