The White Lotus has become a certified classic since its first season dropped in 2021, and so many big names have been attached to the project over the years. The cast has the perfect mix of up-and-comers and fan-favorite A-listers, making for a deliciously dynamic watch. It’s also made household names of stars like Sydney Sweeney, Leo Woodall, and Meghann Fahy, making everyone in Hollywood want a piece of Mike White’s critically acclaimed series. (Like, to the point that icons like Nicole Kidman and Millie Bobby Brown list it as a dream project during interviews.)

Anywho! The show is gearing up for its big season 3 finale on Sunday, April 6, and showrunner Mike White gathered the current cast for a telling interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Ofc, they shared their thoughts and theories without giving away too many spoilers. They also dished on their hopes for the future of the series, and Mike teased the possibility of reuniting past cast members for an “all-star” season of The White Lotus.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, who plays Saxon Ratliff on the current season in Thailand, started the discussion, saying, “I’ve heard rumors of them doing an all-star season,” to which Mike responded, “I’d love to do that.”

“They could get all the douche guys in one hotel together,” Patrick suggested. “Mike said that one day when we were on set, he was like, ‘Oh my God, it’d be so good to get you, Jake Lacy, and Theo James in the same room.’”

HBO’s CEO, Casey Bloys, was also present for the cast’s interview, throwing in a character from the show’s first season. “Maybe Molly Shannon’s character and Victoria Ratliff know each other? There are so many connections between all these awful people,” he added.

The possibilities are truly endless... Haley Lu Richardson’s Portia from season 2 would shrivel in the presence of Sydney Sweeney’s Olivia from season 1, and the thought of Parker Posey interacting with Aubrey Plaza on-screen is a diva summit we’d be seated for.

As for season 3’s finale, Mike shared that it’s “epic.”

“It’s an hour and a half. It’s kind of epic. My hope is that it will feel like a cathartic sad or a satisfying sad and not a ‘What the fuck?’ sad, but people are going to have a million different opinions,” he said. “You just hope you stick the landing.”

The White Lotus season 3 finale airs on April 6 at 9 p.m. EST on Max.
